For those of you who asked, I am OK. Just really, really busy.
It’s frisbee season again, which means that three nights out of seven I am running around in the mud, chasing after plastic discs. Then there’s the newsletter for the neighborhood association, which seems to consume most remaining weeknights, and Friday and Saturday nights (when I am not out of town for a tournament) are reserved for Having a Good Time—or, when I’m lazy, watching Arrested Development.
Plus, there’s that whole I-spend-eight-hours-a-day-burning-astigmatism-into-
my-eyeballs-by-staring-at-my-fucking-PC thing. When I come home and have a few hours to kill, I ask myself this question: Would I rather sit down to my computer, or have a beer with the neighbors in the sunshine (finally! The sun is back!) and grill up some grub? It’s not hard to figure out the answer to that.
Anyway. I still need to work on the neighborhood newspaper. And eat dinner. And it’s 10 pm. Awesome.

All understandable. I’m glad to read hat you are having some fun amid all he work and that the sun is back over there.
I admire your work with the newspaper.

Beer on a deck sounds like a superb idea. Albeit a ways away at 6:48 a.m. eastern time. But that is the kind of thing that makes the season enjoyable.

Well, that you do the work. It’s kind.^ No clarity before caffeine over here.

^I’m with Boo. I’m nonfunctional until the coffee has worked its way in to my system.
I’m with you on the sunshine and Arrested Development. I told someone the other day he looked like a chicken and then did one of the chicken moves (the “coo-coo-ka-cha!” one). Nobody but me thought it was funny. Apparently not everyone loves Arrested Development.
