A friend sent me some pictures from our “alumni camp” weekend. We took these late one night on the sailing dock in a fit of uncontrollable drunken giggles. We even managed to take several accidental shots of the night sky—turned out we were pointing the camera in the wrong direction. The sixth photo is a “jowling” picture, which means that we were all shaking our heads back and forth as the shutter opened. In the seventh picture I look absolutely smashed—which I was—but it’s probably more of a result of the laughter-induced tears than the alcohol.
One time, at summer camp

You crazy kids!
Uncontrollable drunken giggles, among good friends, are a good thing.

I bet you giggled as much as a grownup as you did when you went to camp as a kid. There’s something about camp that does that.
