Some of you might remember reading about Uncle Joe’s accidental regifting of a $350 bottle of wine and how he recovered from the gaff by telling the lucky recipient that a requirement of the gift was that Uncle Joe had to be there to enjoy it. Well, he finally did! Read his account of the occasion here.

RYCThere’s a whole story behind that song TB Sheets. I’ll tell you someday. (or you could probably look it up easy enough)

I have a random question. How did you make that other module that tells people how they can leave a omment even if they don’t have a Xanga? And, did you just create another Xanga as chelseaguest? I’m thinking of possibly doing that myself … it might bring more readers/comments to my site. Thanks!

Intriguing adventures run in the family. w00t! for Uncle Joe for having a wonderful evening of wine where others would just have sour grapes. Very good.

is it just me, or does your uncle look a lot like Celine Dion’s husband?

Awww! Pepper thankfully doesn’t hate baths enough to make any horrible noises, but she does get all nervous. Haha. My dogs back at home do the same thing (get nervous, I mean) … we have to practically drag them into the bathroom.
Thanks for the info! I appreciate it :-) ~Hilary~

ryc: thanks. I’m sorry to hear about your dad. Nine, huh? Wow - so young to experience something so “adult”, ya know? I don’t know if it’s because I was 13 when my sister died or what, but right after the accident, I came across Judy Blume’s book “Tiger Eyes” and that has since become one of my all-time favorite books.

awh…yay for Uncle Joe! I liked this: “..at first ,Gee, what is all the fuss about?…hold it ,there it is, Oh Yeah ! That’s it,Hmmmmmm!..Ok I think I get it.”…because I was waiting for his reaction. After all, if it’s going to be that expensive a bottle of wine - it better have some sort of distinct flavour, right? :)
