Okay. I’m stressed out. I don’t have time to write why. So we’ll just leave it at that.
In other news, you can read this chart I wrote for the newspaper if you’re bored, which, I must say, looks a hell of a lot better in print than it does on the web. Or this, and if you scroll down to the “Offbeat Promise” you’ll find my section. That is all for now. Speaking of promises, I promise to stop putting links to other things I’ve written and start writing my own stuff in this space. I feel bad for being such a bad blogger/blog reader of late, but my double shift schedule is putting a damper on my free time.
The DSL people are supposed to come today, so I might finally be able to blog from home! The wi-fi I’ve been “borrowing” has totally waned of late so I can’t even check my email anymore. More on DSL later. I think the people at Qwest had their brains surgically removed on their first day of work.

Damn good stuff, Laura! I love the fact that you have an employer that would let you use the term ass. Not so in the world of academia!Really enjoyed the box … plays well toward your ability to be succinct, witty and funny. Not many people can be all three. Keep up the great work!

Great chart! I sort of want to join a roller disco league now, too.
