I am back in Portland. Holiday madness is over. Santa brought me everything I asked for and more, including but not limited to a food processor, a cutting board, pajamas, a cute little speaker for the iPodious, a spatula, cookbooks, $50, socks and long johns. And Uncle Joe gave me a great sweater that immediately became my new favorite piece of clothing.
The flight home was heinous. The only thing that kept me going was the endless stream of Cosby Show reruns on my Jet Blue TV screen. I hadn’t watched a television in like, I don’t know, eight months or something like that, but once I remembered how to do it wasn’t so hard. You just stare at the moving people and listen as if you were there. The Huxtables got me through six hours of the worst stomach pain I’ve ever experienced, plus several waves of fever and nausea. I’ll spare you the details, but let’s just say that sometimes a window seat isn’t a blessing.
And now I’m home, feeling a whole lot better but having absolutely no time to do anything at all. I have more to write, but I need to leave in 10 minutes for Doucheland (AKA my job). Must get ready to go.
Yours,
Mydogischelsea

you barfed, didn’t you? only you didn’t want to say “barf” cuz it’s kind of gross. that was very thoughtful of you… not saying barf.
3 cheers for the Huxtables.

It was great to see you. We’ll have to hang out with more middle-aged pot heads next time we meet.

I wish I could’ve gone to California for the holidays like last year, but then I would not have had a white Christmas like the one here in Michigan, and the snow is melting just in time for New Years. It’s gonna be really awesome, the eventual party I mean.
Okay, take care and kick ass.

Woot for the Cosby show reruns. It always makes for a better flight – that and it tends to drown out the crying kids. Damn crying kids!

I know at least three other people who got cutting boards…did I miss some big trend this year?
